Modifications:
Nearly all the figures were modified in some shape or form, either replacing their kit with more detailed examples from Dragon Figure-pro kits, modifying some of the poses and adding scratch-built straps to the weapons made from gum wrapper. Most of the figures had their helmets replaced with some from Dragon, the commander figure, and two others had an MP40 added (also from Dragon) and the runnning figure converted to carrying a MG34 (borrowed from a preiser figure).
Description:
I wanted to depict a small WW2 patrol of panzergrenadiers scouting, they're all wearing oakleaf spring/summer camo smocks. Not too hot on military history so have left the particular arena vague, aiming for a mid-late war feel with the patrol. I used a combinations of P3,Games Workshop and vallejo paints and Games Workshop washes on the building and the figures.
